The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Snell got free with Pål Håkansson in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiktor Löfkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Håkansson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Per-Arne Barck got a free kick in the 19th minute. Peder Tönnberg's late challenge caught a Hockeysnubbarnas BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peder Tönnberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Peder Tönnberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ove Trillkott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Jakobsson in the 26th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Ronny Skott made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Håkansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Wiktor Löfkvist came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ronnys Lärjungar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Löfkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 37th match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Snell to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Snell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Håkansson having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Skott in the 55th minute of play forced Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goalkeeper Pål Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Ronnys Lärjungar's Ronny Skott looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Pål Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Skott in the 90th minute of play. Ronnys Lärjungar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
