The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille made a precise shot to the right of Hjalmar Flink. Zendium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Christer Wästerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hjalmar Flink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Zendium's Torbjörn Holmberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Enström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Zendium's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Wästerberg came free, but Hjalmar Flink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Wästerberg struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hjalmar Flink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirarnas Lag. Villiam Stenkvist hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Zendium's Hjalmar Flink tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th match minute, Lirarnas Lag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Wästerberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Lirarnas Lag's Elpidio Feliu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elpidio Feliu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lirarnas Lag protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elpidio Feliu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Elpidio Feliu got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute Stig Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the game Kurt Gustavsson made a throw-in which Jörn Bergvall played forward. In the 37th minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille made a precise shot to the right of Hjalmar Flink. Lirarnas Lag's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christer Wästerberg in the 41st minute. In the 41st match minute, Lirarnas Lag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Håning to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Bengtsson was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Luo Gang Zhan got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 58th minute Jonas Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Zendium's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hjalmar Flink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Flink was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Lirarnas Lag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille couldn't finish the play. In the 76th play minute Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hjalmar Flink. 0-6. Alf Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Bergvall in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Zendium defense, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Flink. The Zendium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Flink should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hjalmar Flink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hjalmar Flink was a little too slow when Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 90th minute, Lirarnas Lag's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lirarnas Lag's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Flink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lirarnas Lag eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
