In the 13th match minute, I Rossoneri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Odman to maneuver through the defense. Jan Grep hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Leonard Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Arvidsson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasper Löfgren saved Stockholm IF from getting behind. A collision led to Stockholm IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eric Eriksson hit a great ball. With his leg Kasper Löfgren managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when I Rossoneri's Almir Diamanti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 31 minutes Stockholm IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonard Arvidsson who took care of the corner kick. I Rossoneri's Leonard Arvidsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kasper Löfgren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, I Rossoneri's Kent Ahlgren got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Karl Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockholm IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Mattsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Apelqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Kasper Löfgren made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kasper Löfgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Koch. Stockholm IF's Kasper Löfgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm IF from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 95 played minutes, I Rossoneri's Leonard Arvidsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kasper Löfgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in I Rossoneri reached it.
