With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Lindmark in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olof Finsberg saved Finninge Fotboll from getting behind. Arne Ambjörnsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Söderquist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Finninge Fotboll fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Olof Finsberg had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Markus Bergsten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Surahammar's Alf Lindmark in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finninge Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. Olof Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Lindmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Finninge Fotboll's Kjell Åberg got a free kick in the 31st minute. Markus Bergsten was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Nicklas Hjortberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Olof Finsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Surahammar's Alf Lindmark in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finninge Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Oskar Tinglöv during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Finninge Fotboll booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Tinglöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svante Vacker was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Hjortberg came free, but Olof Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Olof Finsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goalkeeper Olof Finsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Lindmark. Svante Vacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Ambjörnsson having to interfere. If Nicklas Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olof Finsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Lindmark went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Olof Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicklas Hjortberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute, Nicklas Hjortberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olof Finsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 84th minute, Surahammar's Nicklas Hjortberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olof Finsberg. Olof Finsberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Finninge Fotboll:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Surahammar:s goal. 1-5 came through a penalty shot after 89 played minutes, when Surahammar:s Markus Bergsten calmly waited for Finninge Fotboll:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 94th match minute, Surahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Hjortberg to maneuver through the defense. The Finninge Fotboll supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Surahammar's performance. The match ended with a win for Surahammar.
