Mikael Rudqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Rudberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Haström in the 6th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Arne Ambjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Nicklas Hjortberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mikael Rudqvist. Nicklas Hjortberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Nick Danielsson scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Ambjörnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. HEDONISM U18's Mikael Rudqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Lindmark in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Danielsson in the 23rd minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Arne Ambjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Per-Oskar Tinglöv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surahammar and the HEDONISM U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Per-Oskar Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Surahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Tinglöv to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Bagge came free, but Arne Ambjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 36 minutes on the clock, Per-Oskar Tinglöv commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Per-Oskar Tinglöv kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Nick Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. HEDONISM U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Nick Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Ambjörnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zarco Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zarco Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zarco Simões hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes, Koios Paloumbas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HEDONISM U18 and the Surahammar players grew even worse after the yellow card.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick Danielsson to make the kick off. Stig Hansson charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Hansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stig Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Per Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arne Ambjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Haström, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of HEDONISM U18 booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Ambjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Danielsson in the 66th minute of the match. Arne Ambjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Hansson went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 72 minutes of play, HEDONISM U18's Nick Danielsson made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Ambjörnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Rune Bagge notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson. Arne Ambjörnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute Stig Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Ambjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Surahammar's Arne Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Haström in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Surahammar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nick Danielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time HEDONISM U18's players had a chance to rest. With his leg Arne Ambjörnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when HEDONISM U18's Stig Hansson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute, Ingmar Haström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Ambjörnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Arne Ambjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Hansson in the 91st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rune Bagge took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Arne Ambjörnsson to make any attempt to save it. HEDONISM U18's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
