Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When Lars Rydelius fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djurgården Sthlm's protests and gave Lars Rydelius a yellow card for diving instead. Sune Svartengren scored 1-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celil Çağakan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Aro FC's goalkeeper Börje Wallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Holger Rolandsson. After 88 minutes of play, Djurgården Sthlm's Alexander Galle made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börje Wallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Aro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Djurgården Sthlm's performance. The match ended with a win for Djurgården Sthlm.
