In the 3rd minute, Alexander Galle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Rolandsson in the 7th minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jim Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's Johnny Broman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Djurgården Sthlm getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alexander Galle hit a great ball. When Jan Bergsten fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åhus Absolut F.C's protests and gave Jan Bergsten a yellow card for diving instead. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jim Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Rolandsson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Jonas Tholsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Galle took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Lindholm. Jim Lindholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. José Carlos Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jim Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Galle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Alebom was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Rune Helström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rune Helström really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Oskar Broberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johnny Broman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbe Alvin in the 53rd minute of play forced Djurgården Sthlm's goalkeeper Emanuel Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Broberg's late challenge caught a Djurgården Sthlm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oskar Broberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Oskar Broberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Jan Bergsten notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Djurgården Sthlm's Emanuel Alebom. Emanuel Alebom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jim Lindholm made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Holger Rolandsson sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Djurgården Sthlm's goal looked a bit too open when Abbe Alvin came free, but Emanuel Alebom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnny Broman in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Alebom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Åhus Absolut F.C's Johnny Broman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 74 minutes, Johnny Broman made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Djurgården Sthlm's Emanuel Alebom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jim Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Galle in the 77th minute of play. Emanuel Alebom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Johnny Broman put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Alebom. Jonas Tholsson's late challenge caught a Åhus Absolut F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Tholsson helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Alebom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Broman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnny Broman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Johnny Broman scored 8-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Alebom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Åhus Absolut F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
