In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Zander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulf Öfverman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Olof Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Öfverman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ulf Öfverman scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Zander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Olof Zander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulf Öfverman went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Hansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 53rd minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Zander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Ulf Öfverman made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Olof Zander. Lilla Jordberga BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 59 minutes of play, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Olof Zander was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Ulf Öfverman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Strömbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brothers of Mercy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lilla Jordberga BK the free kick. Bengt-Rune Strömbom hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Bengt-Rune Strömbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Sven-Olof Zander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Rune Strömbom in the 72nd minute. Sven-Olof Zander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Elg in the 74th minute of play. Lilla Jordberga BK's Sven-Olof Zander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Brothers of Mercy's Mats Elg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Olof Zander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Christopher Örn hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Ulf Öfverman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Olof Zander. Ulf Öfverman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ulf Öfverman 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. If Ulf Öfverman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brothers of Mercy played a much better game than Lilla Jordberga BK and deserved their victory. The Lilla Jordberga BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
