Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) IzmirFK's Roland Moberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gottfrid Allbom during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, IzmirFK's Gottfrid Allbom got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Brandbergen Bears's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Moberg came free, but Patrick Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brandbergen Bears's goalkeeper Patrick Gallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Brandbergen Bears was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Tunberg to maneuver through the defense. Roland Moberg struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Patrick Gallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IzmirFK. Patrick Gallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Josefsson in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Timmy Bergendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Brandbergen Bears's Timmy Bergendahl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Börje Wästerberg. That made the score 3-1 after 31 minutes of play. If Roland Moberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Bremming hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Börje Wästerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Bergendahl in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Timmy Bergendahl made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, IzmirFK's Patrick Gallin threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Moberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute, one of Brandbergen Bears:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brandbergen Bears. In the 65th minute, Jerry Bremming left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IzmirFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Mattias Vedholm's late challenge caught a Brandbergen Bears's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Vedholm helped the player get up and apologised. Patrick Gallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Moberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brandbergen Bears's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerry Bremming was slow to take the kick. During this time IzmirFK's players had a chance to rest. Gottfrid Allbom hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes, Dick Westerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandbergen Bears and the IzmirFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Brandbergen Bears got a freekick which was hit by Dick Westerstrand. With a little luck, Brandbergen Bears's Patrick Gallin got control of the ball when Per-Erik Josefsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Many of IzmirFK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. IzmirFK may have spent more time on the ball, but Brandbergen Bears were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
