Oskar Uter started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Brandbergen Bears's Patrick Gallin got control of the ball when Göran Aspengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dick Westerstrand hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Timmy Bergendahl made a precise shot to the right of Hans Van Breukelen. G A I S's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Bergendahl in the 21st minute of play forced G A I S's goalkeeper Hans Van Breukelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Van Breukelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Engström in the 22nd minute of the match. G A I S's Hans Van Breukelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Bergendahl in the 24th minute of play. Patrick Gallin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Lars Öberg sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, G A I S's Patrick Gallin threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oskar Uter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bengt Glanselius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Van Breukelen having to interfere. Hans Van Breukelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Engström in the 40th minute of the match. Hans Van Breukelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Glanselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmy Bergendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Van Breukelen having to interfere.

In the 51st match minute, G A I S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Öberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Timmy Bergendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Van Breukelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandbergen Bears's Timmy Bergendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Brandbergen Bears getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bengt Glanselius hit a great ball. Hans Van Breukelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Alvin Engström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hans Van Breukelen. Alvin Engström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 78th minute, Haşim Zağanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes, Malte Fredriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G A I S and the Brandbergen Bears players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to G A I S getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. The referee gave G A I S a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Göran Aspengren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brandbergen Bears's Patrick Gallin. 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, G A I S's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Bergendahl came free, but Hans Van Breukelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brandbergen Bears had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
