Ingvar Hökkvist scored 1-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Rolandsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Dahlberg in the 15th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Jonny Almqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls United defense, Greger Rudkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonny Almqvist. The Hudiksvalls United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonny Almqvist should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Johan Dahlberg in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonny Almqvist saved Hudiksvalls United from getting behind. Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Rudkvist in the 20th minute of play. Greger Rudkvist scored 1-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonny Almqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Karl-Johan Dahlberg put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jonny Almqvist. Karl-Johan Dahlberg took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonny Almqvist. Jonny Almqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Sandell in the 35th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Jonny Almqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Blueskatterna's Karl-Johan Dahlberg in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hudiksvalls United's goalie prevented a goal. Jonny Almqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Kjellqvist's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the game, FC Blueskatterna's Karl-Johan Dahlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonny Almqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. If Christian Kjellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Westerstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Karl-Johan Dahlberg made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Johan Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Almqvist having to interfere. Magnus Sandell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jonny Almqvist made a huge save. Greger Rudkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonny Almqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 59th minute, Arne Almstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls United defense, Greger Rudkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonny Almqvist. The Hudiksvalls United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonny Almqvist should have stopped the shot. Magnus Sandell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jonny Almqvist made a huge save. After 72 played minutes Hudiksvalls United got a freekick which was hit by Arne Almstedt. Hannes Sandström's late challenge caught a Hudiksvalls United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hannes Sandström helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes FC Blueskatterna got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Sandström. Christian Kjellqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonny Almqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Johan Dahlberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonny Almqvist. That made the score 1-9 in the 77 minute of play. Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Hudiksvalls United from getting a goal against them. Jonny Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Kjellqvist in the 85th minute of the match. Jonny Almqvist was a little too slow when Greger Rudkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-10. Jonny Almqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Rudkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Karl-Johan Dahlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Blueskatterna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-12 when Karl-Johan Dahlberg sped through Hudiksvalls United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonny Almqvist. FC Blueskatterna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
