Honung's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, Söderhall's Pål Lindman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Granberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan Rein Cremona Barbaro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Svante Olsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdemar Granberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Herman Brink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Gerdberg struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Valdemar Granberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Söderhall. In the 28th minute Patric Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Mikaelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Calle Askberg fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Söderhall's protests and gave Calle Askberg a yellow card for diving instead. Söderhall's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Jens-Erik Biörk scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Mikaelsson, making the score, 1-2. After 33 played minutes Honung got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Petersson. After 37 played minutes Honung got a freekick which was hit by Urban Lundqvist. In the 38th minute of the match, Svante Olsson sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Valdemar Granberg showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Albert Hultstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wictor Lidberg to make the kick off. Edmund Gerdberg charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Gerdberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Edmund Gerdberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Biörk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Mikaelsson. Söderhall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Erik Biörk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Söderhall booed when Honung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Söderhall getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Herman Brink hit a great ball. Valdemar Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Lidberg in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Honung's Patric Ambjörnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Mikaelsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patric Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Erik Biörk struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Alexander Mikaelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honung. Patric Ambjörnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Mikaelsson having to make a save. Alexander Mikaelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Joensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Edmund Gerdberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valdemar Granberg, passed just outside the right post. In the 95th match minute, Söderhall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Olsson to maneuver through the defense. Söderhall were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Honung's much stronger midfield.
