With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Utter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Mellin in the 16th minute of play forced Gotham City's goalkeeper Ove Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Ragnar Kjellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Månsson to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes, Kevin Mårtensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vallentuna Kickers and the Gotham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michel Säv helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vallentuna Kickers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Edgar Utter had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Joakim Månsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Ragnar Kjellbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Utter was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 85 minutes, Wilhelm Bolander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vallentuna Kickers and the Gotham City players grew even worse after the yellow card.
