Hallands Riviera's Zorion Carić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Wallin in the 7th minute of play. Petter Rudberg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Jim Vall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janusz Porazík in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Soleh Al-Habsy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jim Vall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 17th minute Andy Forsell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Vik was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. Jim Vall was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roger Blom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Carlsson made a kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Skyborn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Porazík came free, but Jim Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skyborn FC's zone, Soleh Al-Habsy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Vall came out of the goal and Soleh Al-Habsy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skyborn FC's Jim Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Blom in the 66th minute of play. Jim Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Blom in the 69th minute of the match. Jim Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The Skyborn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Vall should have stopped the shot. Jim Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soleh Al-Habsy in the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Skyborn FC defense, Janusz Porazík kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Vall. The Skyborn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Vall should have stopped the shot. After 96 played minutes Hallands Riviera got a freekick which was hit by Peter Peto. There was no doubt that Hallands Riviera were the better team. Hallands Riviera's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
