Jens-Åke Melberg kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ragnar Kjellbom sped through Vallentuna Kickers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Utter. When Gotham City's Ragnar Kjellbom in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vallentuna Kickers's goalie prevented a goal. Gotham City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joakim Månsson in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes, Gotham City's Joakim Månsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Utter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gotham City reached it. After 12 minutes, Ragnar Kjellbom made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vallentuna Kickers's Edgar Utter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Max Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Edgar Utter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Kjellbom in the 18th minute of play. Edgar Utter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Åman's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Edgar Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Hybbert in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Ragnar Kjellbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edgar Utter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragnar Kjellbom in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Utter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Max Hybbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jan Åman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Utter was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 48 minutes of play, Gotham City's Ragnar Kjellbom made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Utter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Oskar Mellin made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hannes Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 59 in the game by Ragnar Kjellbom from a close distance when the talented Edgar Utter managed to make a qualified save. Vallentuna Kickers's players were relieved. Vallentuna Kickers's Edgar Utter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Vallentuna Kickers from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Vallentuna Kickers's Edgar Utter got control of the ball when Max Hybbert tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gotham City's Ragnar Kjellbom in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vallentuna Kickers's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Ragnar Kjellbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Utter was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 83 minutes, Ragnar Kjellbom made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Vallentuna Kickers's Edgar Utter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Folke Ström fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gotham City's protests and gave Folke Ström a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Ragnar Kjellbom sped through Vallentuna Kickers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Utter. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gotham City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
