Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC NORDLAND's Pelle Bennet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bandit Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Wahlnäs in the 4th minute of play. Bengt Falkrans kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. John Wahlnäs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bandit Banks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Birger Benett. After 22 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Svenne Svensk. Pelle Bennet took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Åke Nordlander. Jan-Åke Nordlander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Haglund got free with Jan-Åke Nordlander in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Svenne Svensk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Jan-Åke Nordlander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by FF Små Gröna Män's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Birger Benett was slow to take the kick. During this time FC NORDLAND's players had a chance to rest. In the 43rd minute of the match FF Små Gröna Män got a corner. FC NORDLAND's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Holm ran over to the corner to take the kick. With an all-out effort, FC NORDLAND's Jan-Åke Nordlander threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pelle Bennet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Michael Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Wahlnäs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Michael Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Bennet in the 54th minute of play forced FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Nordlander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Dick Hagberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FF Små Gröna Män fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Dick Hagberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bandit Banks. FC NORDLAND's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dick Hagberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Pelle Bennet might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Nordlander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pelle Bennet ran back to his position shaking his head. Barry Baresi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When André Holm came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FF Små Gröna Män fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Holm couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Bandit Banks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dick Hagberg. Jan-Åke Nordlander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Bennet in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match FC NORDLAND got a corner. FF Små Gröna Män's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birger Benett ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ian Ahlbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bandit Banks made a huge save. In the 85th minute Svenne Svensk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes, Bengt Falkrans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NORDLAND and the FF Små Gröna Män players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, FC NORDLAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Falkrans to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 88 minutes, John Wahlnäs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FF Små Gröna Män's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Wahlnäs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC NORDLAND supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FF Små Gröna Män's performance. The match ended with a win for FF Små Gröna Män.
