The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eddie Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Vesterberg in the 8th minute of play. Eddie Östman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Vesterberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, The Gonzez's Tuna Bulut got a free kick in the 13th minute. Eddie Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Vesterberg in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Conny Vesterberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Östman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tuna Bulut hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eddie Östman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th match minute, The Gonzez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goyo Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes, Rank 1's Fredric Åhman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eddie Östman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rank 1 reached it. If Mattias Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pasachai Jitjai kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eddie Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Lindgren in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, The Gonzez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Mușătescu to maneuver through the defense. When Rank 1's Conny Vesterberg in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Gonzez's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Rank 1's goalkeeper Marcus Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Bengtsson. Eddie Östman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Antonini's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Qvalfeldt in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Conny Vesterberg made the kick off in the second half. The Gonzez's Eddie Östman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save The Gonzez from getting a goal against them. After 57 played minutes Rank 1 got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Anıl Kayansel. Marcus Hagström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Qvalfeldt went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Rank 1's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Qvalfeldt came free, but Marcus Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Bengtsson in the 64th minute of play forced Rank 1's goalkeeper Marcus Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gonzez's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Fabiano Antonini scored to the left of an out of position Eddie Östman, making the score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Bengtsson in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredric Åhman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Eddie Östman made a huge save. Marcus Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Qvalfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick Lindgren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Eddie Östman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aron Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marcus Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Aron Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Qvalfeldt in the 83rd minute of play. Eddie Östman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Antonini in the 85th minute of the match. Marcus Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Qvalfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, The Gonzez's goalkeeper Eddie Östman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dick Lindgren. In the 92nd minute, Fabiano Antonini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dick Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eddie Östman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rank 1 played a much better game than The Gonzez and deserved their victory. The The Gonzez players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
