The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Alfons Delin came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the VfL Wolfsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Delin couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Fristedt in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Jonasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jerry Fristedt got free in front of the goal in the 5th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Stellan Jonasson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emil Johnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Olle Tunander made a huge save. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by VfL Wolfsburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Staffan Hääger was slow to take the kick. During this time Idrottsklubben -03's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Staffan Hääger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olle Tunander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Idrottsklubben -03's Stellan Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Delin in the 12th minute of play. Yin Bing Ming hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Olle Tunander made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Emil Johnsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd match minute, VfL Wolfsburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Albom to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Jerry Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander got control of the ball when Vilhelm Wennersten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olle Tunander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emil Johnsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 33rd minute Idrottsklubben -03 were awarded a corner. Staffan Hääger went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Idrottsklubben -03's corner Vilhelm Wennersten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olle Tunander quite easily take care of the ball. Stellan Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Johnsson came free, but Olle Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save VfL Wolfsburg from getting a goal against them. Olle Tunander made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Vilhelm Wennersten sent off a good shot on target. Stellan Jonasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Fristedt's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Fristedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the VfL Wolfsburg defense, Henrik Flink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olle Tunander. The VfL Wolfsburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olle Tunander should have stopped the shot. Jerry Fristedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Stellan Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Idrottsklubben -03 booed when VfL Wolfsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Johnsson in the 57th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Emil Johnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olle Tunander. VfL Wolfsburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Johnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Stellan Jonasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Fristedt's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When VfL Wolfsburg's Jerry Fristedt in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Vilhelm Wennersten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olle Tunander was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Vilhelm Wennersten sped through VfL Wolfsburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olle Tunander. Idrottsklubben -03 made a substitution. Joel Wästerberg replaced Lucas Hääger. Marouane Kiefer hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Marouane Kiefer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Stellan Jonasson made a huge save. Martin Hedlund was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th minute, Martin Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olle Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Skröder in the 81st minute of the match. Idrottsklubben -03's Lennart Abrahamsson was substituted for Henrik Lindholm. After 86 minutes Idrottsklubben -03's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfons Delin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on VfL Wolfsburg's corner Alfons Delin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stellan Jonasson quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Marouane Kiefer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Wolfsburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marouane Kiefer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 minutes of play, Idrottsklubben -03's Vilhelm Wennersten made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olle Tunander was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Liljeström. Idrottsklubben -03 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
