Bertil Hammarbäck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Smurfarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörgen Hansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Smurfarna's Bertil Hammarbäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Flink in the 39th minute of play. Eddie Forssell hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bertil Hammarbäck made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bennvar Nikkinen sent off a good shot on target. Bertil Hammarbäck was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Folke Flink capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Folke Flink really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Flink was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Folke Flink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plan B's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smurfarna the free kick. Folke Flink hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Askstedt in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Örjan Andersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute of the match Smurfarna got a corner. Plan B's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per-Arne Hammarström ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot 75 in the game by Arne Askstedt from a close distance when the talented Örjan Andersson managed to make a qualified save. Plan B's players were relieved. After 76 minutes, Valdemar Västerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plan B and the Smurfarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Plan B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Västerstrand to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Jörgen Hansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Plan B walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
