The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jörgen Hansson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ulf Lundblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plan B's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Lundblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Ahlstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Ahlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Flink, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. David Ahlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Nikkinen in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Plan B getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Michael Stipe hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Egil Malmberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Plan B's Örjan Andersson didn't even have to move. Ulf Lundblad hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Bror Stålman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Örjan Andersson, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Slottshöjden's zone, Bennvar Nikkinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Ahlstedt came out of the goal and Bennvar Nikkinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingvar Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Al-Slottshöjden got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Torsberg. In the 45th minute Jörgen Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ahlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Flink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ahlstedt having to interfere. David Ahlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Flink in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Al-Slottshöjden booed when Plan B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennvar Nikkinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Al-Slottshöjden defense, Folke Flink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Ahlstedt. The Al-Slottshöjden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Ahlstedt should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Ingvar Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Claes Bennet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Slottshöjden and the Plan B players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claes Bennet hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Plan B's Hannes Haegg tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bennvar Nikkinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Bennvar Nikkinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Plan B were awarded a corner. Hannes Haegg went to the cornerflag to take it. David Ahlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nikkinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Folke Flink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Ahlstedt. Al-Slottshöjden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Folke Flink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 92 minutes of play, Plan B's Bennvar Nikkinen made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Ahlstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Al-Slottshöjden supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Plan B's performance. The match ended with a win for Plan B.
