Leonardo Johnsson made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Peder Kilstedt immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Överås BK's Emil Carlsson got a free kick in the 12th minute. With his leg Marcus Nordin managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Syrianska FC's Sonny Modig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 20 minutes, Nicklas Pilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Överås BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Pilberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Barck in the 26th minute of the match. Nicklas Pilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Ahlrot having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Bagge to maneuver through the defense. Olof Ahlrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Pilberg in the 31st minute of the match. Leonardo Johnsson got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Peder Kilstedt. Nicklas Pilberg charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicklas Pilberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Överås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Pilberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Peder Kilstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Överås BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Syrianska FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Kilstedt came free, but Olof Ahlrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 52nd minute Sonny Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Modig in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Nordin saved Överås BK from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Jonas Lindgren made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Nordin. Överås BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Syrianska FC made a substitution. Georg Hermansson replaced Edmund Lundgren. After a defensive mix-up in Överås BK's zone, Sonny Modig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Nordin came out of the goal and Sonny Modig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Modig came free, but Marcus Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Modig might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Nordin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sonny Modig ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Modig came free, but Marcus Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Syrianska FC's Sonny Modig in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Sonny Modig sped through Överås BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Nordin. Olof Ahlrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Carlsson went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Syrianska FC's Filiph Brogren got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Syrianska FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Överås BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
