Björn Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Libra's Oliver Bergstedt got a free kick in the 7th minute. Daniel Waselewicz took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Larsson. Björn Larsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Libra's Björn Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Libra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luc Fontaine was slow to take the kick. During this time Pihl United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pihl United's corner Luc Fontaine fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Björn Larsson quite easily take care of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Libra's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Ferreira came free, but Björn Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gottfrid Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bergstedt in the 18th minute of the match. When Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Libra's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute, Tommy Sundberg made a precise shot to the right of Björn Larsson. Libra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Libra's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Waselewicz came free, but Björn Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Libra defense, Tommy Sundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Larsson. The Libra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Larsson should have stopped the shot. Björn Larsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Waselewicz went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Tommy Sundberg notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Libra's Björn Larsson. Björn Larsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Björn Larsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Sundberg went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. If Tommy Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Björn Larsson came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Pihl United's Chico Dias. But to his dismay, Chico Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 61 minutes into the match, Libra's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Sundberg came free, but Björn Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Pihl United's Daniel Waselewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Enrique Ferreira took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Larsson. Björn Larsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Björn Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ferreira in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Libra's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Sundberg came free, but Björn Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Waselewicz took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Larsson. Björn Larsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Libra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Daniel Waselewicz scored to the left of an out of position Björn Larsson, making the score, 0-14. 82 minutes into the match, Daniel Waselewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Larsson. Libra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Waselewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. Daniel Waselewicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Björn Larsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Waselewicz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 85th minute. Björn Larsson was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Tommy Sundberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommy Sundberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommy Sundberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Björn Larsson. That made the score 0-18 in the 91 minute of play. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Libra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luc Fontaine was slow to take the kick. During this time Pihl United's players had a chance to rest. The Libra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pihl United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
