The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tobias Alebäck was a little too slow when Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute, Tord Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Alebäck. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Roland Åberg with William Backlund as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. John de Jong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tobias Alebäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Karl-Ove Holmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fårdala FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tobias Alebäck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tobias Alebäck made a huge save. Tobias Alebäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Alebäck having to make a save. With a little luck, Fårdala FF's Tobias Alebäck got control of the ball when Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fårdala FF's Tobias Alebäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Alebäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 42 minutes into the match, John de Jong dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tobias Alebäck, 4-1. In the 46th minute Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Alebäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Fårdala FF defense, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Alebäck. The Fårdala FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Alebäck should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made a kick off. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink scored 7-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Alebäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fårdala FF's goalie prevented a goal. Älta BK made a substitution. Fan Nan Hong replaced John de Jong. Tobias Alebäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Bållström in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fan Nan Hong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Alebäck was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Tobias Alebäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fan Nan Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink scored 9-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Alebäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Alf Bållström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Älta BK made a substitution. Kenneth Grönberg replaced Elliot Kinell. If Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute Fan Nan Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Alebäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92nd play minutes Fan Nan Hong shot 11-1, a short shot which went by Tobias Alebäck and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Fårdala FF defense, Fan Nan Hong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Alebäck. The Fårdala FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Alebäck should have stopped the shot. Tobias Alebäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fan Nan Hong's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Älta BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
