Dan Kjellqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Kjellqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 played minutes BK Falcon got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Smitt. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Kjellqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Kjellqvist. BK Falcon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 22 minutes into the match, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of BK Falcon's Dan Kjellqvist. Dan Kjellqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Kjellqvist was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. John de Jong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Kjellqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Älta BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink couldn't finish the play. After the first half Älta BK were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Evert Lindsten with Benjamin Österlund as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Bennvar Bennebjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Älta BK booed when BK Falcon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Bark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Älta BK made a substitution. Fan Nan Hong replaced John de Jong. Älta BK's Marko Alströmmer was substituted for Henning Gulliksson. Lennart Bark kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Dan Kjellqvist made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Juan Abarca sent off a good shot on target. Marko Alströmmer succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Dan Kjellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Alströmmer in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to BK Falcon getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Malcolm Söderqwist hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Falcon's goalkeeper Dan Kjellqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximilian Abrahamsson during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Älta BK's Fan Nan Hong dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. In the 80th minute Fan Nan Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Kjellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BK Falcon's Maximilian Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 84th minute of the match Juan Abarca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Kjellqvist skillfully saved the ball. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dan Kjellqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älta BK. Dan Kjellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Alströmmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink got free with Dan Kjellqvist in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Älta BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
