But to his dismay, Isak Stålman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Linqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Lidström in the 39th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's Isak Stålman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Bergqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isak Stålman to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Gösta Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Isak Stålman sent off a good shot on target. Isak Stålman scored 1-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron Bergqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Polly Magoo Juniors's Jan-Erik Tunberg was substituted for Isak Stålman. Polly Magoo Juniors made a substitution. Cem Adrian replaced Jimmie Vallengren. 65 minutes in the game Folke Nordin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Holger Lidström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Bergman in the 68th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DIF LEEDS BK's zone, Omero Zubiaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Bergqvist came out of the goal and Omero Zubiaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Erik Tunberg took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Bergqvist. Aaron Bergqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Markus Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Rosen in the 75th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in DIF LEEDS BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Erik Tunberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Aaron Bergqvist however easily saved by the left post. 84 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Bergman came free, but Aaron Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Jan-Erik Tunberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Polly Magoo Juniors played a much better game than DIF LEEDS BK and deserved their victory. The DIF LEEDS BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
