Simon Bergsten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Edwin Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Ronny Åkerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Wallin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kristoffer Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Wallin having to interfere. Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Linqvist in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Mackan United booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Lundin came free, but Simon Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Bergsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Mackan United's Edwin Carlsson got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Karl-Michael Eriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Wallin was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. HEJA ESLÖV's Bengt-Rune Kämpe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kjell-Arne Hedin in the 37 minute of the game. 42 minutes into the game, FC Mackan United's Dag Linqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Bergsten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half FC Mackan United were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Michael Eriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Brovall kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Maximilian Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Karl-Michael Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Mackan United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
