Wrexham A.F.C.'s Folke Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Töpfer in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Ivar Kalland in the 23rd minute of play forced Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Folke Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Karl-Johan Lund came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Wrexham A.F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Johan Lund couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Carl Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Vallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Torstensson in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Wrexham A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Peter Töpfer came free, but Folke Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Vallander made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Carl Ström sent off a good shot on target. Peter Töpfer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Torstensson got free with Folke Månsson in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl Ström charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Ström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Torstensson got free with Folke Månsson in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61stth minute of the game Ulrik Torstensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wrexham A.F.C.'s Folke Månsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Johan Lund took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niklas Vallander. Niklas Vallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Wrexham A.F.C.'s Max Kilstedt got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Folke Månsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Nykvist. With an all-out effort, Valla Fc's Folke Månsson threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Töpfer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Folke Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Wrexham A.F.C. from getting a goal against them. Folke Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Töpfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
