Björn Kaxe, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Fanström in the 46th minute of play forced Bergandy's goalkeeper Lennart Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Fanström to make the kick off. Lennart Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Kaxe in the 51st minute of the match. Emil Fanström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Lennart Åkesson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elliott Bark hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Markus Kjellqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bergandy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Folke Flinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Kling, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Kaxe in the 81st minute of play forced Bergandy's goalkeeper Lennart Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bergandy's Göran Martinsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. Lennart Åkesson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jens-Erik Söderström. Folke Flinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Snell, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ingvar Kling took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folke Flinck. Folke Flinck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Bergandy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
