Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ivan Johansson made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Hellgren in the 4th minute of play forced FC Snipers's goalkeeper Olov Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Karl-Ove Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Ingvar Hellgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Bergfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Olov Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Johansson in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Wenerdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FC Snipers defense, Jens-Ove Lindkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Groth. The FC Snipers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Groth should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Johansson in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Wenerdahl saved IFK Göteborg from getting behind. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Mattias Kilman got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's Douglas Wiman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Wenerdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Christian Wenerdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olov Groth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lindkvist in the 26th minute of play. IFK Göteborg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Ivan Johansson scored to the left of an out of position Christian Wenerdahl, making the score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lukas Moberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Snipers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Moberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Wenerdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Snipers's Olov Groth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Lindkvist in the 33rd minute of play. Ove Lövkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Groth having to interfere. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mattias Biörkman hit a great ball. Douglas Wiman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl got control of the ball when Lukas Moberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Hammarberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Jörgen Hammarberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Ove Blomkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jens-Ove Lindkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Bergfeldt to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Jan Hjortsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Ove Lövkvist. In the 64th minute Tim Hård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Wenerdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Snipers's Douglas Wiman pulled a muscle in his leg after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jens-Ove Lindkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ove Lindkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Snipers made a substitution. Billy Källberg replaced Douglas Wiman. Christian Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Moberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Lukas Moberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Wenerdahl was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. FC Snipers's Roland Haglund got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Hjortsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Gustafsson in the 81st minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Christian Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Groth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Blomkvist in the 87th minute of the match. Tim Hård recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Snipers fully deserved thier win.
