In the 28thth minute of the game Lennart Svensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jens-Ove Lindkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ove Lindkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mattias Biörkman kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Jörgen Gunnarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Christian Wenerdahl made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Lennart Svensson sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Lennart Svensson could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Christian Wenerdahl however easily saved by the left post. Olov Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Lövkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Hammarberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Gustafsson in the 95th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Christian Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Hellgren came free, but Olov Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
