Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Cosmopolitan FC's Evert Pihlgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Karlstedt took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Landin. Thomas Landin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Torsten Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Thomas Landin managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Cosmopolitan FC's Evert Pihlgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Evert Pihlgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Landin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert Pihlgren ran back to his position shaking his head. The Cosmopolitan FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Cosmopolitan FC's Evert Pihlgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Pihlgren got free with Thomas Landin in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Torsten Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Papaya's Thomas Landin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save AC Papaya from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Sivert Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AC Papaya's Thomas Landin got control of the ball when Txomin Clos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Tobias Örnberg made the kick off in the second half. Cosmopolitan FC's Tomas Skoog suffered a concussion in the 53rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Emil Alebäck's late challenge caught a Cosmopolitan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Alebäck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cosmopolitan FC booed when AC Papaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Torsten Jonsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Landin. AC Papaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Jonsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. AC Papaya's Thomas Landin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Jonsson in the 62nd minute of play. Torsten Jonsson took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Landin. Thomas Landin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Cosmopolitan FC's Bo Kinell was substituted for Alvin Berg. Evert Pihlgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Landin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Jonsson in the 72nd minute of play forced AC Papaya's goalkeeper Thomas Landin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Pihlgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Landin having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Torsten Jonsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Landin. AC Papaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Jonsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. If Evert Pihlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Cosmopolitan FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
