Dan Backman's late challenge caught a Cosmopolitan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Backman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cosmopolitan FC booed when Digital Monsterz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Backman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Cosmopolitan FC's Evert Pihlgren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertil Skarkman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evert Pihlgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertil Skarkman. In the 34thth minute of the game Evert Pihlgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Digital Monsterz FC's Bertil Skarkman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Åke Brenner charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evert Pihlgren was the one to do the kick off.
