Marcus Söderman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Brun having to interfere. Niklas Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Forrest Gumpfer in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Lagerberg got free with Niklas Brun in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Roy Roger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niklas Ström. UÅ Mästerbotten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Roger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 11 played minutes UÅ Mästerbotten got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Gustafsson. 13 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Wästerberg came free, but Niklas Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, UÅ Mästerbotten's Marcus Söderman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niklas Brun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 28th minute, Stig Wästerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Calle Lundqvist in the 28th minute really tested Niklas Brun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Niklas Brun was a little too slow when Forrest Gumpfer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. Mikael Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The UÅ Mästerbotten fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when UÅ Mästerbotten's Forrest Gumpfer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Niklas Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forrest Gumpfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Wästerberg's late challenge caught a UÅ Mästerbotten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Wästerberg helped the player get up and apologised. Forrest Gumpfer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niklas Brun. Aero Björndalen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Niklas Ström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy Roger went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute Marcus Söderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Söderman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Calle Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Söderman in the 93rd minute of the match. Ralf Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. UÅ Mästerbotten's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
