With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Ennegren in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Oskar Dahlquist saved Hammarby Gård from getting behind. After some careless play in the Frosta Härad IF defense, Elias Nyman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urban Cedergård. The Frosta Härad IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urban Cedergård should have stopped the shot. Frosta Härad IF's Urban Cedergård proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Frosta Härad IF from getting a goal against them. Felix Arenius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Urban Cedergård skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Urban Cedergård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Wennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Frosta Härad IF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tommy Lindsten hit a great ball. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ahlgren in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hammarby Gård's Ulf Gerdberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hammarby Gård's Bertil Wennersten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urban Cedergård. That made the score 2-1 after 35 minutes of play. Ulf Gerdberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urban Cedergård. Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Felix Arenius might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urban Cedergård. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Arenius ran back to his position shaking his head. If Olov Ennegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes in the game, Felix Arenius fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Urban Cedergård having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Olov Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frosta Härad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Ennegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Felix Arenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frosta Härad IF's Urban Cedergård was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Arenius hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of Frosta Härad IF booed when Hammarby Gård was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Wennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Ennegrens short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Sven-Oskar Dahlquist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Hammarby Gård's Felix Arenius got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Frosta Härad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Arenius came free, but Urban Cedergård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Thor Överman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hammarby Gård fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Sven-Oskar Dahlquist went to the wrong direction when Karl-Ove Henriksson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The Hammarby Gård fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Hammarby Gård's Felix Arenius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Urban Cedergård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Svanberg in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Frosta Härad IF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Edmund Bank hit a great ball. Frosta Härad IF's Christer Tönnberg suffered a sore thigh after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 85th minute of the match Bertil Wennersten completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bertil Wennersten a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Frosta Härad IF's Jan Kjellman was substituted for Christer Tönnberg. In the 88th match minute, Hammarby Gård was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hammarby Gård getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Thor Överman hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Simon Svanberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Svanberg in the 97th minute of play forced Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Urban Cedergård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hammarby Gård's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
