The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conny Gullesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Käcker in the 3rd minute of the match. With 5 minutes on the clock, Andreas Holm commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Conny Gullesson had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Karl-Erik Rosén's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Johansson got free with Conny Gullesson in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Johansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conny Gullesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Marcus Johansson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Conny Gullesson firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 19 played minutes IFK Fjärås got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Nyman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Johansson got free with Conny Gullesson in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Käcker in the 28th minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Conny Gullesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ulf Lång scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Kilström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, David Grep had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Kilström. IFK Fjärås's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Grep was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 44 minutes, Erik Wennerqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Fjärås and the FC Bodil United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes IFK Fjärås got a freekick which was hit by Erik Wennerqvist. Ulf Lång struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Johannes Kilström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bodil United. The IFK Fjärås players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Bodil United were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Skoglund to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Karl-Johan Drake took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Johannes Kilström to make any attempt to save it. Conny Gullesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Käcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's goalkeeper Johannes Kilström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Skoglund. In the 61st match minute, IFK Fjärås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Nyman to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Lång to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Kilström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Lång, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Ulf Lång dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johannes Kilström, 0-5. In the 80th minute, Karl-Erik Rosén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Grep to maneuver through the defense. If Erik Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Bodil United's Conny Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Nyman in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Anton Billvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes of play, FC Bodil United's Fredrik Skoglund made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Kilström was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Bodil United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
