Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarvis Cormier in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Dolan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 9 minutes, Cyryl Karpinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyryl Karpinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Karpinski to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Jaume came free, but Merlin Dolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Jordan. In the 17th minute, Dalmacio Jaume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Jaume scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Merlin Dolan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Cyryl Karpinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Dolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarvis Cormier in the 28th minute of play. Waldo Dailey charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldo Dailey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Waldo Dailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Zamalek FC's Paul De La Cruz tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Merlin Dolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Hooks, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Jarvis Cormier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Dolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyryl Karpinski hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Santo Knox got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Boca Juniors's Dalmacio Jaume dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Karpinski in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Jarvis Cormier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Merlin Dolan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Cyryl Karpinski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Merlin Dolan. That made the score 0-4 after 65 minutes of play. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Jordan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wayne Cardoso, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jim Hooks kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Hooks in the 74th minute of play. Dalmacio Jaume took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merlin Dolan. Merlin Dolan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Merlin Dolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Jaume in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Dalmacio Jaume took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Merlin Dolan to make any attempt to save it. Eddie Pelletier hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Jaume in the 89th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Merlin Dolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Brendon Fish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Fish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Collin Rowley replaced Cyryl Karpinski. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zamalek FC.
