Martin Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Solomon Samuels in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Chris Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickey Joseph breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mete Ferro scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickey Joseph, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mete Ferro hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avery Dunlap to maneuver through the defense. Drew Latham kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Dadá Ponta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickey Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Ferro in the 32nd minute of the match. New England Minas were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Key Biscayne FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clinton Caballero took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Clinton Caballero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rickey Joseph quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rickey Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Ferro in the 35th minute of the match. Key Biscayne FC's Rickey Joseph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Ferro in the 37th minute of play. New England Minas's Martin Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Solomon Samuels in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Mete Ferro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rickey Joseph made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Kirkland came free, but Rickey Joseph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickey Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Ferro in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mete Ferro to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mete Ferro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rickey Joseph was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Key Biscayne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Ferro came free, but Rickey Joseph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Lance Pate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Avery Dunlap was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Key Biscayne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Avery Dunlap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Markusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermín Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Rickey Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Cabezon in the 76th minute of the match. Lance Pate hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Solomon Samuels hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Cory Kirkland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cory Kirkland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Pate came free, but Martin Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Solomon Samuels in the 95th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Martin Markusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jon Negron fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New England Minas's protests and gave Jon Negron a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Markusson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fermín Montes. The New England Minas players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
