Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shane Smiley took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Milton Heath. In the 8th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamar Burton to maneuver through the defense. Merrill Banks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Mitchell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Jim Mitchell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merrill Banks in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Santos FC got a corner. Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rusty Little ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rusty Little almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Miami Futbol Club's Franco Di Giambattista did a great save. In the 23rd minute, Merrill Banks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Miami Futbol Club's Merrill Banks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jim Mitchell. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. Merrill Bankss short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Jim Mitchell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After taking down the ball on Racing Miami Futbol Club's corner Phil Vine fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jim Mitchell quite easily take care of the ball. Shane Smiley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rusty Little. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lawrence Smart to make the kick off. Merrill Banks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Mitchell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Rusty Little hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Merrill Banks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jim Mitchell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Merrill Banks might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Mitchell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merrill Banks ran back to his position shaking his head. Jim Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merrill Banks in the 63rd minute of the match. Lawrence Smart struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Franco Di Giambattista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. Jim Mitchell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keenan Worthington, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jim Mitchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keenan Worthington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Jamar Burton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamar Burton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Denny Godwin replaced Chu Zheng Yu. In the 79thth minute of the game Keenan Worthington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos FC's Jim Mitchell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Keenan Worthington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keenan Worthington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keenan Worthington blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Mitchell having to make a save. Jim Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keenan Worthington in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Keenan Worthington came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Keenan Worthington came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Racing Miami Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keenan Worthington couldn't finish the play. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
