After having played for 10 minutes, Donovan Landrum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sin City Sinners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donovan Landrum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ned Peralta in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Landrum in the 37th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Jay Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Mitchell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jay Romero took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Mitchell. Jim Mitchell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Benito Hyde charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Hyde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Benito Hyde got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Donovan Landrum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sin City Sinners's supporters rose to their feet, but Donovan Landrum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Mitchell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ned Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jim Mitchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ned Peralta came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jim Mitchell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donovan Landrum in the 53rd minute. Jim Mitchell was a little too slow when Ned Peralta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 75th minute of the match Sin City Sinners got a corner. Santos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donovan Landrum ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Sin City Sinners booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rusty Little didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ned Peralta in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Mitchell saved Santos FC from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jay Romero. 85 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ned Peralta came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ned Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Darryl Pollard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harri Mihklisaar skillfully saved the ball. If Sammy Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Leon Burr hit a great ball. Donovan Landrum struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jim Mitchell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sin City Sinners. The Santos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sin City Sinners were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
