Harri Mihklisaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Huston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Roy Huston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harri Mihklisaar was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Sin City Sinners's Harri Mihklisaar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sin City Sinners from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, Sin City Sinners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Lemons to maneuver through the defense. Rodney Urbina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Harri Mihklisaar made a huge save. Sin City Sinners's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Roy Huston scored to the left of an out of position Harri Mihklisaar, making the score, 1-1. Harri Mihklisaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Huston, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Huston to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Independiente's zone, Donovan Landrum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Ángel Santoro came out of the goal and Donovan Landrum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harri Mihklisaar having to interfere. Sin City Sinners's Harri Mihklisaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Huston in the 35th minute of play. If Donovan Landrum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jay Romero in the 43rd minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Rodney Urbina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Harri Mihklisaar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodney Urbina to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Crane in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Santoro saved C. A. Independiente from getting behind. If Donovan Landrum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donovan Landrum got free with Miguel Ángel Santoro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Wallace Whatley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sin City Sinners the free kick. In the 61st match minute, C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Grant Kimbrough. In the 68th minute, Donovan Landrum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's Miguel Ángel Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Crane in the 73rd minute of play. After 77 minutes, Roy Huston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Independiente and the Sin City Sinners players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Donovan Landrum almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. A. Independiente's Miguel Ángel Santoro did a great save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sin City Sinners players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C. A. Independiente.
