Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Pendleton in the 10th minute of play. Wes Abel made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Leif Engle immediately put the ball in play. 17 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Pendleton came free, but Charles Knapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolf Pendleton made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Knapp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bart Villanueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvis Mendoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Rudolf Pendleton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Knapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolf Pendleton took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Knapp. Charles Knapp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Rudolf Pendleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Knapp stood somewhat misplaced when Rudolf Pendleton came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rudolf Pendleton managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Pendleton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Knapp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rudolf Pendleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Knapp was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Lazaro Ragsdale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lazaro Ragsdale really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Charles Knapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Pendleton in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudolf Pendleton in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Knapp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Rodger Mejia. Lazaro Ragsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Martin Tuttle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
