After 3 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Burrell. When Jason Douglas fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Patoruzu's protests and gave Jason Douglas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Douglas to maneuver through the defense. Elias Ferguson charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Ferguson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Waldo Hills managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Black Knights FC's Sidney Lin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Waldo Hills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Ferguson in the 10th minute of the match. Waldo Hills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Kirkland in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Patoruzu's Eliseo Cavazos got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Douglas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills got control of the ball when Raymundo Kirkland tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 played minutes Atletico Patoruzu got a freekick which was hit by Felix Plummer. Raymundo Kirkland was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Black Knights FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Lin got free with Waldo Hills in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trenton Call showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Pedro in the 29th minute of the match. Barry Drummond hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Atletico Patoruzu's Pedro Pedro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trenton Call made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sidney Lin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Waldo Hills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Pedro in the 42nd minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Trenton Call to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Barry Drummond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Knights FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Patoruzu the free kick. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Sidney Lin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldo Hills was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Black Knights FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atletico Patoruzu were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Pedro in the 52nd minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Trenton Call to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxwell Myrick kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Atletico Patoruzu's Marcelo Marcello tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Ferguson in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Black Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymundo Kirkland to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Marcello's late challenge caught a Black Knights FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Marcello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Marcello to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sidney Lin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Knights FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Lin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldo Hills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Marcello kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Barry Drummond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Ferguson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Waldo Hills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo Kirkland in the 88th minute of play. The referee gave Black Knights FC a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by George Cao Xiao, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atletico Patoruzu's Waldo Hills. 2-1. If Pedro Pedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Black Knights FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Patoruzu for a fine match.
