The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Giraldo in the 14th minute of play. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Cash, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Fontenot in the 29th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Charlie Bucket to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Fontenot was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivelin Kúchev to maneuver through the defense. Brooklyn SC's Titus Pierson got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Pace in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Donovan Heath tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Charlie Bucket saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Greg Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Brooklyn SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greg Giraldo couldn't finish the play. Federico Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Charlie Bucket made a huge save. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Hess, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Federico Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Eli Cash got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the game Emanuel Novak made a throw-in which Nicky Cavazos played forward. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Ash Fox got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Cash in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Pace in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarrett Rosenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Hess in the 95th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cosmos Soccer Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
