Silas Villanueva's late challenge caught a ForestFire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silas Villanueva helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ForestFire booed when ARMENIAN 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, ForestFire's Eddy Amos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 6th minute Merle Mansfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reed Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.J. Torres hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Merrill Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duncan Nichols went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Merrill Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Amos in the 16th minute of play. Merrill Suarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eddy Amos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ForestFire's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddy Amos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merrill Suarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ARMENIAN 11's Merrill Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Martinez in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by C.J. Torres in the 33rd minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Reed Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Duncan Nichols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Merrill Suarez made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Eddy Amos sent off a good shot on target. Reed Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from C.J. Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeffrey Yoshioka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute Eddy Amos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merrill Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Nichols in the 65th minute of play forced ARMENIAN 11's goalkeeper Merrill Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ARMENIAN 11's Joshua Fitzgerald was substituted for Silas Villanueva. ARMENIAN 11 made a substitution. Pedro Lofton replaced Merle Mansfield. ARMENIAN 11's King Davison was substituted for Abe Lilly. The supporters of ARMENIAN 11 booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Amos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Duncan Nichols's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merrill Suarez was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merrill Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lane Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ARMENIAN 11's zone, Duncan Nichols stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merrill Suarez came out of the goal and Duncan Nichols tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that ForestFire were the better team. ForestFire's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
