Honorato Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plácido Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusmão Candeias in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Lima Team getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gusmão Candeias hit a great ball. Plácido Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Gois, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Lima Team's Gusmão Candeias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Plácido Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 13 minutes, Honorato Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lima Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Gois succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Tomás Gois scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Plácido Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Gusmão Candeias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Plácido Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to Miradeses FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Júlio Lameirinhas hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Gusmão Candeias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Gois in the 34th minute of play forced Miradeses FC's goalkeeper Plácido Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Pascoal Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miradeses FC and the Lima Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lima Team booed when Miradeses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascoal Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Gois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Plácido Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Gois took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Plácido Madureira. Plácido Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascoal Amaral to make the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Tomás Gois who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miradeses FC's Plácido Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Severiano Lucena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With splendid footwork Tomás Gois arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-7 by the left pole in the game's 62nd minute. When Lima Team's Tomás Gois in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miradeses FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 minutes Miradeses FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilson Frois who took care of the corner kick. If Honorato Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Fagundes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Amaral in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Lima Team's Tomás Gois ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Plácido Madureira. Plácido Madureira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 78th minute, Honorato Amaral fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Plácido Madureira, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Gois kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Plácido Madureira. That made the score 0-9 in the 78 minute of play. Miradeses FC's Plácido Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Miradeses FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angélico Ventura during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angélico Ventura kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Rui Lamego mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miradeses FC and the Lima Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Miradeses FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Lamego to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Plácido Madureira managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Lima Team's Tomás Gois fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 93 played minutes Lima Team got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Vilela. When the match was over Lima Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Miradeses FC throughout the match.
