After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Sidónio Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rua da Pinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidónio Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Plácido Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Miradeses FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rui Lamego hit a great ball. Abel Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Anjos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Plácido Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Miradeses FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nuno Carreira hit a great ball. Miradeses FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Wieslaw Cwenar scored to the left of an out of position Plácido Madureira, making the score, 2-0. Alexandre Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Januário Castelo Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidónio Pachecos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Plácido Madureira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute Rua da Pinga were awarded a corner. Wieslaw Cwenar went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 47th minute Rui Lamego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascoal Amaral was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rua da Pinga's Wieslaw Cwenar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Plácido Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Gusmão Menezes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidónio Pacheco in the 63rd minute of play forced Miradeses FC's goalkeeper Plácido Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rua da Pinga's Cezary Karpinski got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Sidónio Pacheco made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Miradeses FC's Plácido Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Januário Castelo Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidónio Pacheco took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Plácido Madureira. Plácido Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Miradeses FC's Plácido Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Karpinski in the 78th minute of play. Plácido Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidónio Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezary Karpinski in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Plácido Madureira saved Miradeses FC from getting behind. Amílcar Salgueiro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Miradeses FC defense, Wieslaw Cwenar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Plácido Madureira. The Miradeses FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Plácido Madureira should have stopped the shot. Plácido Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezary Karpinski's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Miradeses FC's Januário Castelo Branco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Rua da Pinga's Cezary Karpinski got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Sidónio Pacheco put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Plácido Madureira.
