When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Gonsalvo Ramos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Plácido Madureira to make any attempt to save it. Tobias Taveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Plácido Madureira came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobias Taveira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute, Januário Castelo Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Gonsalvo Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Januário Castelo Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miradeses FC and the Suprs Academia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Miradeses FC got a freekick which was hit by Januário Castelo Branco. Rui Lamego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Prod'Homme having to interfere. After some careless play in the Miradeses FC defense, Tobias Taveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Plácido Madureira. The Miradeses FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Plácido Madureira should have stopped the shot. Rui Lamego kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Miradeses FC's Plácido Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Miradeses FC from getting a goal against them. After 38 played minutes Miradeses FC got a freekick which was hit by Januário Castelo Branco. 41 minutes into the game, Pascoal Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miradeses FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suprs Academia the free kick. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when Miradeses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascoal Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascoal Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. Januário Castelo Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Prod'Homme having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Alexandre Pessoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suprs Academia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miradeses FC the free kick. The supporters of Miradeses FC booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Pessoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Januário Castelo Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suprs Academia's Joaquim Cavaco got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Taveira in the 60th minute of play forced Miradeses FC's goalkeeper Plácido Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Suprs Academia's Tobias Taveira in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miradeses FC's goalie prevented a goal. Plácido Madureira came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Suprs Academia's Tobias Taveira. But to his dismay, Tobias Taveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Gonsalvo Ramos struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Plácido Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suprs Academia. 70 minutes into the match, Tobias Taveira notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Miradeses FC's Plácido Madureira. Plácido Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Tobias Taveira sped through Miradeses FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Plácido Madureira. Plácido Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Taveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Taveira in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Plácido Madureira saved Miradeses FC from getting behind. Plácido Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Cavaco in the 82nd minute of play. The corner led to Suprs Academia's Gonsalvo Ramos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Tobias Taveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Plácido Madureira was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Júlio Lameirinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plácido Bulhosa struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Plácido Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suprs Academia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Taveira in the 95th minute of play forced Miradeses FC's goalkeeper Plácido Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suprs Academia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
