Zacarias Portugal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Almiro Poças was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Valinor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Tuga FC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Almiro Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Portugal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Paixão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to F.C. Valinor getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Filinto Pedroso hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hélder Pimentel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Portugal was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. If Laureano Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Pimentel in the 14th minute of play. Zacarias Portugal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Miguéis went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. F.C. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Silveira in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Sporting Tuga FC's Hélder Pimentel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Portugal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Zacarias Portugal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute Eusébio Miguéis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Pimentel in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Silveira in the 36th minute of play forced F.C. Valinor's goalkeeper Zacarias Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Telmo Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Tuga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Tuga FC's Hélder Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacinto Tomé in the 53 minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Hélder Pimentel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zacarias Portugal. The goal made the score 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Tuga FC's Telmo Silveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zacarias Portugal. That made the score 0-5 after 57 minutes of play. Telmo Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Valinor's zone, Telmo Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Portugal came out of the goal and Telmo Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hélder Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Valinor's Zacarias Portugal got control of the ball when Telmo Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Miguéis in the 84th minute of play forced F.C. Valinor's goalkeeper Zacarias Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Pimentel got free with Zacarias Portugal in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Portugal made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Telmo Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Sporting Tuga FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
