Tomás Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano Tristão having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Lourenço Quinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Tó Madeira could leave the field as winners, despite KINGS FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
