Luigi Harammes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Manuel Vigário scored to the left of an out of position Albertino Belém, making the score, 3-0. Marco Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Sidónio Carvalhal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidónio Carvalhal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Belém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Marco Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabino Ferrão's late challenge caught a Altamora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabino Ferrão helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when Luigi Harammes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Ferrão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Altamora FC's Manuel Vigário nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertino Belém made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Julião Amaro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Vigário to strike the kick off in the second half. Albertino Belém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Vigário in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Ilídio Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luigi Harammes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altamora FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Luigi Harammes's Ilídio Azevedo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute Manuel Vigário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Belém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manuel Vigário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Manuel Vigário notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Luigi Harammes's Albertino Belém. Albertino Belém was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albertino Belém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vigário in the 70th minute of play. After 81st play minutes Manuel Vigário shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Albertino Belém and just under the crossbar into goal. The Altamora FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Altamora FC's Manuel Vigário looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jorge Amorim hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Luigi Harammes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
